Elmar Mammadyarov receives delegation led by French Senator

Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov yesterday received the delegation led by chief of France-Azerbaijan Friendship Group, Senator Ambruaz Dupont, the ministryâ€™s press service told the APA.
Mr.Dupont expressed satisfaction with his visit in Azerbaijan. The visitor underlined the importance of economic cooperation between France and Azerbaijan and expressed confidence on further development of mutual relations.
Noting the necessity of deepening efficient cooperation between Azerbaijan and France in the future Elmar Mammadyarov expressed satisfaction with the level of interparliamentary relations between the two countries.
The Minister spoke about the negotiations for the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and noted the role of France as a co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group. The Minister also underlined the necessity of solving the conflict basing on international law norms and principles and within Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity. Elmar Mammadyarov spoke about the role of Azerbaijan in the economic growth of the region. /APA/
