Bones found in Guba belong to victims of genocide committed by Armenians in 1918

He said that this cemetery is part of massacres committed by Armenians in Guba in 1918.
â€œThe place where the bones were found during the reconstruction of sport complex in the territory of Guba, on the right bank of Gudyalchay is not cemetery. The bones were found in two wells on the bank of the river. The diameter of the big well is 5, and smaller one is 2.5. There is two-meter distance between the wells. There are hundreds of skeletons in the big well. As the skeletons were found separately it means that people were put into the well after being murdered,â€ member of scientific expedition in Guba Asker Aliyev told the APA. He said that they could only take 35 skeletons. No hair, clothes, thing was found in the well.
â€œAs the first well was full, a second one was dug. The small well has not opened yet,â€ he said.
Aliyev said that the results have been presented to local organizations. The investigation of the bones determined when murder happened. The archeologist said that ancient bones become firm, but the bones found in Guba are still wet. It shows that they were killed 80-90 years ago. Preliminary investigations of the well show that the massacres wee not committed there.
â€œArmenians threw the bones on the bank of the river in order to conceal their massacres,â€ he said.
Aliyev noted that the scientific expedition finished its investigations and state commission is to be set up for this purpose. /APA/
