US and European Stocks fall

Baku - APA-Economics. On Thursday, the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 47.23 points (0.44 per cent) to 10,788.05 at the closing bell, while the broader S&P 500 index was down 3.53 points (0.31 per cent) to 1,141.20 points, Sydney Morning Herald reported.

The tech-rich Nasdaq composite index lost 7.94 points (0.33 per cent) to 2,368.62 points.

In London, the FTSE 100 index of leading shares closed down 0.37 percent at 5,548.62 points, having been up more than one percent. In Paris, the CAC 40 index shed 0.59 percent to 3,715.18 points and in Frankfurt the DAX dropped 0.29 percent to 6,229.02 points.
