Dow Jones falls 0.1%, S&P 500 â€“ 0.1%, Nasdaq â€“ 0.5%

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. On August 5, Dow Jones indexes fell 0.1% to 10.675 on the US markets, S&P 500 â€“ 0.1% to 1.126, Nasdaq â€“ 0.5% to 2 293. According to APA-Economics, an increase of preliminary job applications caused share quotation fall.

These factors had an effect on the European markets too. FTSE 1000 index fell 0.4% to 5 366, French CAC 40 rose 0.1% to 3 764, German DAX rose 0.01% to 6 334 on the European stock markets on August 5. Credit Suisse shares rose 1.4% in price, Banco Santander â€“ 0.3%, Credit Agrcole â€“ 1.1%, Lloyds â€“ 2.1%, but Barclays fell 4.7%.

On August 5, NYMEX gold delivery rose 0.3% to $1 199,3.

Euro-USD Exchange rate was 1, 3192 (+0.3%) in the world market.
