A swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles delivered strikes on a US military base in Al-Shaddadah, located in the south of Syria’s Al-Hasakah Governorate next to Al-Jebsa oil fields, the Al Mayadeen television said, APA reports citing TASS.
According to the report, several explosions were heard on the territory of the facility.
The Islamic Front for the Iraqi Resistance claimed responsibility for the attack. On Tuesday, its members attacked twice another US base, located near the Conoco gas field in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor province.
