Sustainable delivery of aid corresponding to the needs of the civilian population in Gaza is urgently needed, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell wrote on X, APA reports.
"We exchanged with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, EU leader Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez and President of the European Council Charles Michel ahead of the Cairo Peace Summit on the situation on the ground," reads the post.
Note that leaders and top officials from more than a dozen countries have gathered in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, for a conference to discuss ways to “de-escalate” the Israel-Hamas conflict.
