Two French citizens accused of espionage have been sentenced in Iran, APA reports, citing Iranian media.

The individuals in question were accused of spying for France and Israel and sentenced to prison.

The individuals in question were sentenced to more than 30 years in prison separately.

The French citizens are accused of three separate articles: espionage for the benefit of France, intelligence cooperation with Israel, and gathering to undermine public security.

It should be noted that a few days ago, French citizen Lenard Montrous, who was arrested in Iran on espionage charges, was released.

He was arrested on charges of spying against Iran during the 12-day war.
