The chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) of Türkiye, Devlet Bahçeli, answered questions regarding the release of Selahattin Demirtaş, who is imprisoned in Edirne, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
Bahçeli stated that the legal processes have already yielded results and that Demirtaş’s release would lead to beneficial outcomes.
During his speech at the group meeting, Bahçeli also delivered important messages regarding Türkiye’s agenda. According to him, a visit by the parliamentary commission established for the “terror-free Türkiye process” to İmralı could further accelerate the process.
The MHP chairman also emphasized that his party is ready to join such a delegation.
