The news spread in the Indian media that Türkiye supports terrorist organizations is aimed at damaging relations between the two countries, APA's Türkiye Bureau reports, citing the Public Relations Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration.
It was stated that the allegations in some Indian media that Türkiye is involved in terrorist acts in India are baseless:
"Türkiye strongly condemns all terrorist acts, regardless of where and by whom they are committed, and plays a leading role in the fight against terrorism through international cooperation. It actively contributes to the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy and relevant NATO policies. The allegations that Türkiye is carrying out radicalization activities in India or other countries are completely baseless."
The organization called on the public not to believe such manipulative and slanderous news.
