A Turkish-owned ship has run aground in the Kerch Strait, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports, citing the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs.
According to the information, there were 11 crew members on board the ship.
It was noted that the evacuation process was carried out safely.
“All 11 crew members aboard the Turkish-owned ship named “HAPPY ARAS,” including 3 Turkish nationals, who ran aground south of the Kerch Strait in the Black Sea, were evacuated from the ship in a coordinated and safe manner. The crew members are in good health. The situation regarding the incident is being monitored,” the statement emphasized.
