The Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MN) has declared that it is ready to provide support to Syria in the fight against terrorism, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The Ministry’s statement noted that necessary support will be provided if Syria requests it:
“Our country supports Syria’s fight against terrorist organizations based on the principles of Syria’s unity and territorial integrity. If Syria requests, Türkiye will provide the necessary support,” the statement said.
Note that clashes continue following attacks by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on civilian settlements and Syrian army positions in Aleppo. According to reports, 6 people in total, including 5 civilians, have been killed as a result of the SDF attacks. It is reported that local residents have been evacuated for safety reasons.
