Turkish Foreign Minister: Such temporary victories have not brought security and peace to Israel throughout history

"Tens of thousands of civilians are losing their lives before our eyes. The situation in Palestine has always been tragic and now it has become a bloody massacre. There can be no excuse or reason to inflict such collective and merciless suffering on people as is happening in Gaza," Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said as he addressed the Cairo Peace Summit in Egypt, APA reports.

"We must be firm and unequivocal in condemning any civilian loss. At this most important point, the international community must convey its efforts and messages. Israel must be warned that such temporary victories have not brought them security and peace throughout history and will not bring them now. Israel uses the solidarity of some countries as a blank check and creates blind rage against the Palestinians, which even targets mosques and hospitals," said Hakan Fidan.

Turkish Minister stressed that the unconditional arming of Israel by some countries makes it possible to further deepen the occupation in the region and this policy ignores another important side of the conflict - Palestine.
