It was reported that the Syrian army has completely cleared the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya districts of Aleppo from the SDF forces.

The Syrian army has completely cleared the Sheikh Maqsoud region of Aleppo from the Syrian Democratic Forces, Reuters wrote, citing the Syrian army, APA reports.

Previously, the SDF was offered to withdraw.

Due to the group’s refusal to withdraw, the Syrian army has launched operations.

It should be noted that the Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that a ceasefire has been declared in the areas of Aleppo held by the Syrian Democratic Forces.

It should be noted that the time given to the SDF has already expired. The Syrian army has started bombing PKK/YPG positions to ensure the territorial integrity of the country.

The number of civilians killed in clashes between the SDF and the Syrian army in Aleppo has reached 21, and 55 people have been injured.

More than 100,000 people have fled the Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafiya neighborhoods where fighting is taking place.
