Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, APA reports, citing the Kremlin.
During the telephone conversation, Masoud Pezeshkian "condemned the large-scale drone attack on the state residence of the Russian President in the Novgorod region."
They exchanged views on further strengthening Russian-Iranian cooperation in various fields, including energy and transport infrastructure.
The situation surrounding Iran's nuclear program was also discussed.
