A group of protesters in the city of Hamadan burned a Quran along with other religious books, while another group of rioters attacked a mosque, APA reports citing Tasnim news agency.
According to him, on Thursday evening, January 1, protesters burned several religious books, including a Quran, in the Sadaf district of Hamadan. Another group of approximately 20 protesters attempted to attack a mosque in the city, but law enforcement officers arrived and prevented them from carrying out their plan.
