President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, as part of his visit to the Gulf countries, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
The meeting focused on Türkiye-Kuwait relations, as well as regional and global issues.
Erdoğan emphasized the strategic importance of cooperation in investment, energy, trade, and defense, and stated that Free Trade Agreement negotiations with the Gulf Cooperation Council would boost trade. He stressed the importance of maintaining the ceasefire in Gaza, the two-state solution, and the political unity and territorial integrity of Syria.
