The US military has signed an $8.57 billion contract with Boeing to supply F-15 fighter jets to Israel, APA reports.
According to a statement on the US Department of Defense website , the contract "covers the development, integration, installation, testing, production, and delivery of 25 new F-15IA fighter jets for the Israeli Air Force." The agreement includes the option to increase the number of aircraft delivered by 25 units.
The Pentagon expects Boeing to fulfill its contract obligations by the end of 2035.
