The name of the next director of Israel's foreign intelligence service, Mossad, has been announced, APA reports, citing the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, APA reports.
Deputy Prime Minister for Military Affairs, Major General Roman Hoffman, has been selected as the next director of Mossad.
"After holding talks with a number of candidates, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has selected his assistant for military affairs, Major General Roman Hoffman, to head Mossad," Netanyahu's office said.
Note that the term of the current head of the intelligence agency, David Barnea, will end in June next year.
