SpaceX founder Elon Musk called for the arrest of Somalia's Permanent Representative to the UN, Abukar Dahir Osman, APA reports.
He published a corresponding statement on X, commenting on allegations of the diplomat's alleged involvement in financial fraud in the United States.
"Arrest him," Musk wrote under a post alleging that Osman previously owned a healthcare company funded by American taxpayers that was found guilty of Medicaid fraud. The post also claimed that the diplomat allegedly worked as an overseer at a government Medicaid agency.
Abukar Dahir Osman assumed the presidency of the UN Security Council on January 1, 2026, as part of the monthly rotation. Somalia itself joined the UN Security Council as a non-permanent member for the 2025-2026 term.
