About 50 Hamas members were arrested by the Israeli internal security service (Shin Bet) in the West Bank, APA reports, citing The Times of Israel.
The detainees were said to be planning armed attacks.
The Hamas members were detained as a result of 15 operations conducted by the Israeli army and Shin Bet in recent weeks.
Firearms were found and confiscated from Hamas members.
"One of the terrorist networks had been at a high level of readiness to carry out attacks recently," the Shin Bet said in a statement.
Note that the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is still in effect.
