The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Saturday that they conducted retaliatory attacks against Hezbollah, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The IDF claimed it intercepted a rocket launched toward one of its drones from the area of the border with Lebanon and later struck "the military compound from which the rocket was launched." Israel's military added its jets also struck "Hezbollah military infrastructure and observation equipment a short while ago, in response to the shooting incidents toward Israeli territory today."
Earlier in the day, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated that Hezbollah has been paying "a heavy price" for its strikes on Israel.
