The restoration of Lake Urmia is an issue that goes beyond national borders, Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said, APA reports, citing Iranian media.
Aref warned against indifference and a narrow approach to saving Lake Urmia.
“Neglect and a narrow-minded approach to rescuing Lake Urmia will lead to a tragedy that transcends national and state borders. Even a single day of delay in the restoration of Lake Urmia is a clear injustice,” the vice president said.
