Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has said that Israel and the United States are behind the protests in Iran, APA reports, citing Tasnim
He made the remarks in a statement to journalists.
“The United States and Israel have officially announced that they have a role in these disturbances. They are trying to turn peaceful protests into unrest. You can see this in many statements by US and Israeli officials,” Araghchi said.
According to the minister, the US and Israeli attacks on Iran in June failed.
The foreign minister stressed that there is no possibility of a US or Israeli attack on Iran. At the same time, he warned the United States and Israel: “If they carry out such an attack a second time, they will suffer defeat again.”
