The Palestinian Hamas movement claims it was not involved in the shooting incident in Rafah and is committed to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, said the Palestinian radicals in a statement published on the movement's Telegram channel, APA reports.
"Hamas denies any involvement in the shooting incident in Rafah and reaffirms its commitment to the ceasefire agreement," the statement stated. At the same time, the movement accused the Israeli side of violating the ceasefire, claiming that the strikes on Gaza "constitute a flagrant violation of the agreement."
"This attack is the continuation of a series of violations committed over the past few days, including attacks that resulted in deaths and injuries, as well as the ongoing closure of the Rafah crossing," Hamas said.
