The militant group Hamas said on Monday that Israel "bears full responsibility" for the death of its senior member, Omar Draghma, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The 58-year-old is said to have been kept in an Israeli prison for roughly two weeks, according to the group. "We promise our prisoners imminent freedom," Hamas wrote in a Telegram post.
The Israeli Defense Forces announced earlier today that five commanders of Hamas air defense forces have been killed since the tensions escalated on October 7.
