The transfer of Palestinian prisoners has begun, Israeli sources confirmed, as the 72-hour deadline for the prisoner exchange began following the ceasefire agreement that officially went into effect Friday afternoon, APA reports, citing Al Arabiya.
An Israeli source said on Saturday that the relevant authorities have begun transferring the Palestinian prisoners to be released from Israeli prisons, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.
He also added that Hamas, in turn, has begun “preparing the remaining Israeli hostages” for their release on Monday.
