The ceasefire in Gaza must be maintained, said the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan while answering questions from local media on the plane returning from Egypt, APA’s Türkiye bureau reports.
He noted that ensuring the durability of the ceasefire in Gaza and preventing violations is the most important issue.
“Israel’s past experience of violating ceasefires requires caution and vigilance. Türkiye, the United States, and other countries firmly support the maintenance of the ceasefire, and if tensions escalate again, Israel itself knows that there will be severe consequences. In the past, many agreements remained only on paper, but now there is a stronger and shared determination,” Erdoğan emphasized.
