Entering into conflict with Russia would be very costly for Syria, Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa made the remarks in an interview with CBS News, APA reports.

During the interview, the head of state emphasized that Syria will use all available legal means to hold former President Bashar al-Assad accountable.

“Engaging in a conflict with Russia now would be very costly for Syria and would not serve the country’s interests,” he stated.
