During the protest rallies that began in Iran on December 28 last year, 5,848 people, including 209 law enforcement officers, were killed in the clashes, APA reports, citing the Iran Human Rights Activists News Agency, based in the United States.
According to the information, 41,283 people were detained as a result of the incidents that occurred in many parts of the country.
It should be noted that in a statement made the previous day by Iran’s Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs, it was reported that 3,117 people, including security forces and civilians, were killed in the clashes during the protests.
