Second Vice-President of the National Assembly of Cambodia, Vong Sauth, spoke about the war and subsequent peace between Thailand and Cambodia during the international parliamentary conference held in the Milli Majlis to mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of Azerbaijan’s Constitution, APA reports.
Sauth Vong emphasized the importance of peace, recalling that on October 26, the prime ministers of Thailand and Cambodia, Anutin Charnvirakul and Hun Manet, signed a peace agreement in Kuala Lumpur during the ASEAN Summit, attended by the U.S. President Donald Trump.
He expressed gratitude to Donald Trump for his efforts in helping achieve peace between the two Southeast Asian nations.
