Ruben Kharazyan, who was appointed Armenia's ambassador to Syria last year, presented his credentials to President Ahmed al-Sharaa, APA reports, citing Armenpress.
The delay in presenting the credentials is linked to the political instability in Syria.
Kharazyan studied Arabic language and literature and has held various diplomatic positions. In previous years, he served as Armenia's ambassador to Iraq, consul general in France, and ambassador to Turkmenistan.
