Mexican passenger threatens aircraft to blow up, plane makes emergency landing

A Bangkok-Delhi flight of Indian with 95 passengers on board made an emergency landing at the NSC Bose international airport Wednesday after a Mexican drunk passenger threatened to blow up the aircraft.
The passenger on flight IC-854 was in an inebriated condition and had misbehaved with co-passengers. He threatened to blow up the plane before he was overpowered, APA reports.
Although he was overpowered by the crewmembers and passengers, the plane contacted the air traffic control at Kolkata airport and sought permission for emergency landing because of the panic among the passengers.
The Mexican passenger, whose name was not released, was arrested after the plane landed and no bomb or explosives were found abroad the plane. /APA/
