Baku-APA. Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads billionaire Donald Trump in a national poll as the real estate mogul’s favorability seems to be growing among GOPers, APA reports quoting Press TV.
According to a new NBC News/SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll released on Tuesday, as of May 1, the former first lady had a 43-percent support from registered voters in a theoretical match-up, a figure that stands at 37 for her Republican rival.
Trump, however, has narrowed the gap on the Democratic front-runner and appears as a better contender to face Clinton compared to Texas Senator Ted Cruz.
A theoretical match-up between the two shows that 44 percent of the voters support Clinton and only 30 percent back Cruz.
