Baku-APA. Three were killed and dozens of others were injured in clashes between supporters of ousted Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi and citizens in Sharqiya and Port Said governorates, medical officials and state-run media said Friday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
In Sharqiya, the confrontations erupted when the protesters attempted to storm the government building in Zagazig city.
The killed were shot in the chest, Undersecretary of the Health Ministry Atef Aafiyah said, adding eight of the injured in critical conditions were taken to the nearest hospital.
In Port Said, one was killed in similar clashes, official news agency MENA reported.
