Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. OSCE Office in Baku has organized one-week trainings for the lawyers that have been members of the Azerbaijani Bar Association since 2009, the office told APA. International and local lawyers will discuss the issues on various aspects of criminal and civil trial proceedings. The participants will attend simulated trial proceedings, hear a range of discussions.
Fiorentina Azizi, the OSCE Office in Baku’s Judicial Training Officer, expressed her hope that the training will improve the knowledge of the new members of the Bar Association concerning the international fair trial standards.
“We wish this training helps the new members to increase their expertise, improve their approach to their clients,†she said.
This is a part of the training strategy 2010 implemented by OSCE Office in Baku together with the Azerbaijani Bar Association and Justice Academy.
