Over 8 000 facts of violation of migration legislation revealed in Azerbaijan this year

Appropriate measures have been taken in this direction, Chief of State Migration Service Arzu Rahimov told journalists, APA reports. â€œFor example, cases of violation of the legislation are observed by Turkish citizens. The more migrants from one country, the more law violations will be observed by citizens of those statesâ€, said Rahimov while answering the question on citizens of which countries violate the legislation more than others.

Rahimov also added that around 400 Chinese and Pakistani citizens violated the demands of migration legislation have been deported from Azerbaijan as a result of measures carried out in the beginning of this year.

To question on Chinese citizens engaged in street-trading in Azerbaijan, Rahimov said that the number of such people had not increased so much: â€œThese citizens enter the country legally, live in our country within the time-limit shown in the visa and do not violate any law. But such persons are engaged in street-trading. It is an illegal activity and that is why appropriate bodies take measures against them. If these persons violate housing law in Azerbaijan, of course, necessary measures will be taken about them.
