Excellent pupils without parental care pay mutual visits on the initiative of Azerbaijani and Georgian First Ladies

20-member Georgian delegation was welcomed on September 1 in Baku, Heydar Aliyev Foundation told APA. The guests visited the Alley of Martyrs and Alley of Honor at first and then following the meeting at the Heydar Aliyev Foundation they saw historic and cultural places, as well as sights. The Georgian teenagers visited the Old City, Archeological-Ethnographic Museum, Gobustan, as well as Modern Art Museum and 1st orphanageâ€™s summer camp.

The delegation visited Gabala, Sheki and Ismayilli regions within 10-day program. They were familiarized with the nature of Azerbaijan and life in the regions and visited the historic places there.

Azerbaijani delegation began the visit to Georgia from Tbilisi. They visited Heydar Aliyevâ€™s memorial in the Georgian capital and then held a meeting at the Azerbaijani embassy in Georgia. 20-member delegation was received by the First Lady of Georgia. The children visited the sights of the capital city and national and ethnographic museums as well. They also were familiarized with the ancient city of Signagi and then traveled to Batumi, Gori, Kutaisi and Likani. They had good impressions about the Vardziya temple, the Botanic Gardens in Batumi, zoo and new boulevard.
