Baku hosts seminar on â€œComprehensive approach to cyber securityâ€ - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA. Today, the seminar on â€œComprehensive approach to cyber securityâ€ has started by the organization of OSCE Office in Baku, APA reports. Representatives of Azerbaijani law-enforcement bodies, embassies, international organizations attend the seminar. Head of OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Jankorel noted that the purpose of the practical seminar was to help Azerbaijani government in realization of Europe Convention on â€œCyber crimeâ€ by accepting systematic policy on cyber security. He noted that Azerbaijan ratified this convention on July 1, this year. The ambassador said that Azerbaijan would fulfill commitments in making changes in the Criminal Code, coordinate with legislation etc.

Department chief of Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies Bakhtiyar Mammadov spoke about works done up to this day in struggle against cyber crime.

Note that representatives from the Ministry of National Security, Special State Security Service, NATOâ€™s Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, Special Representative of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe in Azerbaijan are expected to deliver speeches within the two-day seminar.
