Nearly 50 large and small hotels and guest houses are constructed in Azerbaijan currently, chief of the domestic tourism sector of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Mahir Gahramanov told APA. He said nearly 30 facilities were expected to be opened. Several guest houses were opened this year.
The sector chief added that September 27 – the World Tourism Day traditionally marked in Azerbaijan every year will be solemnly celebrated this year too. Various presentations are scheduled to be held at the Baku Business Center on September 29. Azerbaijan’s guide books published in French and English in France and the United Kingdom, as well as the annual report will also be presented there on that day.
