ANAS determines educational institutions for doctoral preparation

To him, National Academy of Aviation, Ministries of Education, Economic Development, Agriculture, Health, Justice, SOCAR, â€œAzerenerjiâ€ Open Joint-Stock Company, all departments of ANAS has appealed for creation of doctorates at the educational institutions.

The official of the Academy said that most institutions of ANAS had appealed for doctoral admission on both philosophy and doctor of sciences: â€œWhile investigation of appeals, we were determining chances of educational institutions for carrying doctoral preparation on the basis of â€œRules for creation and admission to doctoratesâ€. The appropriate institutions have been given positive opinion for holding preparation of cadres. Some of them have been given positive opinion for doctoral preparation only on doctor of philosophy, but others both on philosophy and doctor of sciencesâ€.

Hashimov noted that they would submit the prepared opinions to the Cabinet of Ministers in the next few days.

Note that, process of admission to doctorate is considered to hold in autumn.

Period of full-time attendance at doctorate on doctor of philosophy is 3 years, for distance education is 4. Period of full-time attendance at doctorate on doctor of sciences is 4 and for distance education is 5 years.
