Baku. Ilhama Isabalayeva – APA. Baku hosts the 8th International Forum of Azerbaijani Students and Graduates Educated Abroad on Friday. According to APA, coordinator of the organizing committee Orkhan Akbarov said the forum aimed to give an opportunity to the young people to share their experiences, to communicate and exchange information between themselves. The first similar forum was held in 2001. Azerbaijani students educated abroad organized the first forum. This year the students educated in 25 countries joined the forum.
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev said the forum extended its technical opportunities an increased the number of participants. He said today 500 students were using opportunities created by the State Program for Education of Azerbaijani Students Abroad in 2007-2015. This year 200 students will join them. The deputy minister said the number of students educated abroad doubled in the past five years.
