Azerbaijani women’s organizations appeal to Russian embassy and ICRC for help to return National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov’s body

The Working Group representing a number of women’s organizations has officially appealed to Russia’s embassy in Azerbaijan and Baku office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and asked to help return the body of National Hero Mubariz Ibrahimov, chairperson of “Leading women†public union, parliamentarian Malahat Ibrahimgizi told APA.
Ibrahimgizi said the written appeal was presented to the Russian embassy and ICRC on August 19.
“We are waiting for the reply. After we receive the reply, we will decide whether to hold rally or not,†she said.
Two days ago a group of women’s organizations said they intend to hold a rally outside the Russian embassy and Baku office of ICRC.
Ibrahimgizi said the written appeal was presented to the Russian embassy and ICRC on August 19.
