Pupils of 1st-4th forms to wear school uniforms in Baku from this year

The process is compulsory, chief of public affairs sector of Baku Education Zamina Aligizi told APA. The process started three years ago. According to her, a poll was held among the pupils, they also supported wearing of uniforms.
â€œUp to this year each school has had its own style of clothes. Most schools preferred classic clothes. Clothes differed in various schools. Therefore, we decided to use school uniforms. The process starts in Baku from this year,â€ she said.

Zamina Aligizi says the models of uniforms have been defined. There will be a logo on the uniform of each pupil that shows the number of the school. Baku Clothes Factory is sewing uniforms. The sale of the uniforms has started since May. The department official says that the clothes cost AZN 40. Skirt and blouse, trousers and jacket cost AZN 30, shirt and pullover cost AZN 5. Centers have been opened for sale of the uniforms.

Zamina Aligizi says the pupils of the 5th-10th forms of secondary schools of Baku will wear uniforms from 2011-2012.
