Weather forecast for August: Temperature to reach 44 C in some places of Azerbaijan

Senior hydrologist of the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Asif Verdiyev told APA that the amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal, in some places above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be 26â€¦ 28 C, this is close normal and 1-2 degrees above normal. The temperature will be 21â€¦ 25 C at nights, 33â€¦ 35 C in the daytimes, sometimes 39â€¦ 41 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 6-8 mm).

The average monthly temperature in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is forecasted to be 27â€¦ 29 C, this is close normal. The temperature will be 20â€¦ 25 C at nights, 33â€¦ 38 C in the daytimes, sometimes 40â€¦ 42 C, the temperature will reach 44 C early in the month. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal, in some places above normal (norm 6-10 mm).

The average monthly temperature in Upper Karabakh-Khankendi, Khojavend, Zangilan, Gubadli, Shusha, Khojaly, Lachin, Kalbajar, Dashkesen-Gedebey will be 19â€¦ 21 C, this is 2-3 degrees above normal. The temperature will be 13â€¦ 18 C at nights, 23â€¦ 28 C in the daytimes, sometimes 29â€¦ 34 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 37-55 mm), in some places above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Gazakh-Ganja, Tartar, Aghdam-Fuzuli-Jabrail regions will be 26â€¦ 28 C, this is close normal. The temperature will be 19â€¦ 24 C at nights, 31â€¦ 36 C in the daytimes, sometimes 37â€¦ 39 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 19-24 mm), in some places above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Balakan-Shaki-Zagatala, Shamakhi-Ismailli, Khizi, Siyazan, Shabran, Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz regions will be 23â€¦26 C, this is close normal and 2-3 degrees above normal. The temperature will be 16â€¦ 21 C at nights, 26â€¦ 31 C in the daytimes, sometimes 33â€¦ 36 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 17-116 mm), in some places above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Central Lowland regions â€“ Aghdash, Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Imishli, Ali-Bayramli, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Salyan and Neftchala will be 27â€¦29 C, this is close normal and 2-3 degrees above normal. The temperature will be 20â€¦ 25 C at nights, 33â€¦ 38 C in the daytimes, sometimes 40â€¦ 42 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (6-22 mm).

The average monthly temperature in Masalli-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik regions will be 25â€¦27 C, this is close normal and 1-2 degrees above normal. The temperature will be 18â€¦ 23 C at nights, 30â€¦ 35 C in the daytimes, sometimes 37â€¦ 39 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 13-83 mm), in some places above normal.
