Baku – APA. Rector of the Baku State University, Academician Abel Maharramov received a delegation headed by the Rector of the Polish State University of Wroclaw, Professor Roman Kolacz. Rector Maharramov welcomed the guests and informed them about the university, press and information department of the Baku State University told APA. Roman Kolacz said there were 11 000 students in his university and they were educating in the fields of environmental problems, agriculture, geodesy, cartography, biology, biotechnology and others. The issues of common interests were discussed at the meeting. The rectors decided to carry out a number of joint projects and to work together in the fields of nanotechnology, immunology and biotechnology and to launch programs of exchange of students and specialists. A protocol on cooperation was signed between the universities.
