Results of masterâ€™s degree admission for 2010/2011 academic year announced in Azerbaijan

The official results have already been posted on the website of the SSAC. The list will also be published on the 5th edition of â€œMagistrâ€ journal on June 27.

Examination for admission to the masterâ€™s degree was held in two stages. The first stage of the exam was held on May 2 on logical thinking, foreign language and informatics (mathematics for applicants for Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy). 6,870 out of 14,915 bachelorâ€™s degree holders, who took the exam, proceeded to the second stage.

The second stage of the exam was held on May 20. 6,552 out of 6,629 bachelorâ€™s degree holders participated in the exam.

The bachelorâ€™s degrees holders, who passed the second stage, made choice of specialty and confirmed their choice on June 22-25.

According to the results of the two stages, 3,911 bachelorâ€™s degree holders were admitted to the masterâ€™s degree of the higher education establishments, 9 will get masterâ€™s degree in Turkey. 1,838 of them are boys, 2,082 girls.

Those who have been admitted to the masterâ€™s degree of the higher education establishments are to submit their documents from July 1 till 12 (except Saturday, Sunday and holidays). If a bachelorâ€™s degree holder is not registered during the certain period, it will be regarded as his/her rejection, and he/she will be removed from the list.

Appeals commission will consider the applications concerning the results of the admission on July 28-30. The bachelorâ€™s degree holders meeting the terms of the competition will be able to apply for the unfilled places. The list of the unfilled places and time of the submission of the applications will be published on the website of SSAC and â€œMagistrâ€ journal.
