To him, this year’s indicator is 10 percent more than previous year. Mardanov said that 23037 (99, 20%) pupils from 23222 studying in the 11th form partook in examinations in Baku. 21441 of them got good mark.
To him, though 8168 pupils were expected to participate in Ganja, Mingachevir, Sumgayit cities, only 8048 of them took part in the examinations. And 7420 of them got good mark.
57273 pupils from 60152 studying in the 11th form at 59 village schools in Azerbaijan participated in examinations. 45515 of them got good mark.
The minister said that 6413 participants from 8586 in finals were school-leavers of last year. 3852 of them got good mark, and 2173 got bad mark.
Handover certificates has already been started in Baku and Sumgayit. It will be started in other region and cities since today as well. The minister noted that about 14 000 school-leavers would not get certificate: “Last year this number was 18325â€.
