Azerbaijani Health Ministry bans some beaches â€“ <font color=red>LIST</font>

The analysis has shown that the seawater is still being polluted in the sanitary protection zones of Shikh beach of Sabail district and Sahil beach of Garadagh district. Waste waters flow into the sanitary protection zone of Shikh beach from Bibiheybet, Badamdar, 20-ci sahe residential area and Lokbatan settlement, waste waters flow into the sanitary protection zone of Sahil beach as the reconstruction in Sahil cleaning devices station has not finished.

According to the results of the laboratory analysis, the indicators of bacteriological pollution of the seawater in the above-mentioned beaches are above normal.

Taking into account the serious threat of the current situation to the health of the people, spread of the infectious diseases, under the article 34 of the law on â€œSanitary-Epidemiological Safetyâ€, assistant to the head sanitation physician of Azerbaijan Republic passed a decision to ban Shikh beach of Sabail district, Sahil beach of Garadagh district.

Related letters have been sent to Baku Mayorâ€™s Office, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and Baku Main Police Office to help the execution of the decision.
