Unfortunately, the druggists, who bring counterfeit medicines, continue their illegal activity,†Azerbaijan’s Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev told journalists, APA reports.
According to the Minister, in the past 15,000 kinds of low-quality medicines were brought to the country. Now only 3,000 kinds of medicines are brought to the country.
Ogtay Shiraliyev said there are low-quality medicines in the pharmaceutical market and warned the owners of the drugstores.
“Unfortunately, though the situation has become much better in the pharmaceutical market, counterfeit medicines are still sold. I warn the owners of the drugstores that it will be prevented soon. The illegal drugstores will be closed,†he said.
