According to monitoring conducted in the areas constructed with cleaning installations, microbiological pollution has been prevented in comparison with 2007.
Waste waters running into Sea from the northern areas of Absheron peninsula are being controlled. That is, the percentage of microbiological pollution has decreased during exploitation of cleaning installations, number of collibacillus has reached to minimum level in mentioned areas within 2 years. Pollution level is normal in Bilgah, Buzovna, Mardakan, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, in the territory of Amburan beach, as well as Novkhani and Jorat beaches. But microbiological pollution has been recorded in the areas which had not been installed such installations – beaches of Sabayil district, Shikh and Garadagh district, Sahil settlement.
Ibrahimova said that except Sahil, Shikh beaches of Sumgayit and Sahil settlement, areas where have been constructed cleaning installations are usable for beaches in summer season.
